Found a lenghtly disertation on VSWR & feed lines at the ARRL TIS web. The file is rather large (1,114,112 bytes, PDF file) and it is a "Members Only" thing but is 66 pages of good information that will put much of the coax vs open wire debate into the relm of 'old ham tales.' http://www.arrl.org/members-only/tis/info/pdf/Reflect.pdf A good place for grounding information is on the PolyPhaser web site at <http://www.polyphaser.com/ppc_technical.asp> with one specifically devoted to ham stations at <http://www.polyphaser.com/datasheets/PTD1016.pdf> |
