[TenTec] Omni VI Plus freq. readout

Whenever I tune to "X" frequency such as to meet a
sked, my Omni never reads the same as any Icom,
Kenwood, Yaesu, etc. If the frequency is 14.195, my
rig reads something like 14.195.23 or so. This bugs me
no end.

It seems that I recall a discussion on this reflector
indicating that this frequency readout error is
inherent in the Omni and that nothing can be done
about it. Is this correct?
