Hey Rick, that is a bummer.

I remember having those problems with the first beta I tried but all is
better now with the 2.9 after getting all my settings right.

I am convinced that the software is not for the person that is not
interested in the advanced technology. It is really for the user that wants
to take time and set it up and in the end have a superior rig. Right now,
this is not an easy process.

That said, I was questioning which category I fell into when I first started
playing with it. But since I have it set up, there is no reason to go back
to the old fashioned 16 bit programs.

Your machine should be PLENTY of processor to run it. Not sure if there is
any issues with AMD like in the old days, but I might hook up one I have in
the back room and check it out.

I have been running parallel test on the interfaces and for those interested
in seeing the difference in the band scopes you can click the link below.
Both were CW signals scanned at exactly the same time.

The one on the top is the "ten ten style" scope and the one on the bottom is
the new PegPlus digital filtered scope.

Anyway, sorry it did not work out. You have a reliable performer with N4PY's
so you are in good shape ;)

73,

Rich
