The old Hallicrafters mentioned did have a green scheme to the dial and
meter.  It was most interesting in that period that they chose to use such a
large meter.  Those were not common in amateur equipment, being the size of
the audio level meters used for Broadcast consoles of the day.  Maybe
Hallicrafters got a good buy on them?
