My Paragon currently will run no more than 40 to 50 watts out (about 10
to 12 amps being drawn off the supply) before the protective circuit
shuts it down. As I recall, this protective circuit should only
activate when the current drawn is around 22 amps or so. I've misplaced
the info on my matching Ten Tec supply. I think the protective circuit
is in the power supply but I can't remember. Where do I start looking
for the gremlin ? In the supply or in the rig?
Please respond to my e-mail address if you can help.

Puck, W4PM
