Personally, I have so much ham gear I seldom "need" to add to the collection. 
But if I need somthing that's not available from the factory/dealer or the 
usual used sources I post a WTB notice stating what I want and what I'm 
willing to pay. So far it has worked to everyone's satisfaction.
