Stuart,
I also have a stack of the Ten-Tec "newspaper" (from Dayton &
HamCom) to make available at Austin Summerfest.
The DX program will be terrific, as usual, and is sponsored again
by the Central Texas DX & Contest Club. It will be:
1. VP8GEO & VP8THU "Micro-lite" DXpedition - presented by George
Fremin III, K5TR, contester extraorinaire and DXpeditioner on this one
2. WRTC 2002 - A Behind the Scenes Look - by Jim George, N3BB
who was a 2002 WRTC judge
3. W1AW/5 Operation in the 2002 IARU - by Richard King, K5NA,
whose station was one of six involved in this groundbreaking effort this
year.
And Susan King, K5DU, will do DXCC QSL card checking for the worthy. If
you're planning to be around Austin the weekend of August 3rd, this will
be a super session!
73, Duane
