I'd use contact cleaner on the little slide switch on the rear panel.
It may be marked REC-XCV or something like that but it is to enable
your use of a second receive antenna.
If that didn't work, I'd replace the diodes which are back-to-back across the receive antenna input. 73, Mike N4NT Michael Colvin wrote: I purchased a Triton IV from eBay recently.
