I have an Omni V with the N4PY V.9 firmware update. It also comes with the
original TenTec microcontroller. The only V.9 hardware mod was the
replacement of the microcontroller. The sidetone and RS232 mods were not
made, nor were the keys rearranged, so this radio could be converted back to
original operation just by reinstalling the original microcontroller.
It also includes the TenTec FM board and 1.8 kHz, 500 Hz and 250 Hz TT
filters in the 6 MHz IF.
The radio was back to the factory earlier this year to have some of the keys
cleaned and/or replaced and to have a full alignment and checkout.
Cosmetically, the radio is in good to great shape. No major scratches. Some
of the keypad labels show wear, but are still readable.
Also included a custom keypad overlay showing the V.9 functions.
