Depends on what the crystal and tuned circuits are. If the crystal added is 4.0 MHz give or take a couple KHZ, there's going to be that strong transmit spur. If the crystal is 22 MHz, its clean. Another check. If set for USB on 20m and it receives upper on 17 meters, its going to have the spur, if it receives LSB in the normal sideband position, its clean. 73, Jerry, K0CQ -- Entire content copyright Dr. Gerald N.
