WHOA ... The 3CX1200A7 does NOT require a warm-up time like
the 8877 does ... The 1200A7 is much more rugged than the 8877
with a grid that will take 50 watts, as compared to the 7 (?) watt
rating of the 8877. True, the 8877 puts out more power, but either
will generate the 1.5kw with nominal drive.
I have two AL-1200s with internal QSK boards here, these units have
been in service for well over 10 years now ... There is NO "time delay" !
The AL-1200 is INDEED an "Instant On" unit ... no need to wait ...
I have never heard of a AL-1200 that from the factory had a "time
delay" or required a stated warm-up time ...
