Glenn;
The Orion's features/performance will, I believe, please most Ten-Tec and
non Tec-Tec owners.
The complaint about Black is justified. I have owned/currently own:
Paragon, SN:090; Titan, Omni V/301,
252 auto Tuner, Centurion and Omni VI Plus/301. After 15 years of light
gray Ten-Tec's, how many matching stations will no longer match if a
Black Ugly Orion is placed on the bench/desk?
Ten-Tec changed from the dark Corsair color many years ago, and Gray has
become their benchmark.
The obvious difference of the Orion painted gray would still place it "in
a different category than the Omni series" per reps reasoning for black
last weekend.
The Orion's appearance last weekend looks cheap next to the RX-340
receiver adjacent to it.
