I recently acquired a Jupiter. I have local bc stations which overload the front end on the lower bands by imaging everywhere. This depends on the antenna I'm using at the time. I have a Carolina Windom80 and a 160m loop. The attn button takes it out pretty well without affecting reception otherwise. I was offered to send the Jupiter back to Ten Tec under warrantee to replace a pair of diodes in order to eliminate the bc imaging. Has anyone else had this done? How did it work out? de ben k8dit |
