Gents,I am a 160 meter addict, and you would be amazed at how the 2-250hz filters in line improve S/N on weak signals. It all depends on what your goals are. In contesting under most conditions, I prefer one (or both, depending on QRM) 500 hz filters. Many times, I wish I had 125 Hz filters to choose, when trying to pick out a DX signal under the noise, with a 20 over CQ'er next door. Ron - WA9IRV |
