Gentlemen, I usually use my 4-sq on 160 for TX and RX so never have used the Aux RX on my Omni 6+. This year I have put up a dipole for a better signal early in the evening during contests, and want to use the 4-sq as an Aux RX antenna while on the dipole. I have looked through the manual and can't find the answer to my question. Is the Aux RX input protected against excessive signal while transmitting? I have a front end saver, but prefer not to use it if not necessary. Ron - WA9IRV |
