| Subject: | [TenTec] OMNI V using RS-232 |

I have not used the RS-232 port on the OMNI V with success. The serial cable is wired as in the manual. Is a level converter needed as with ICOM? Address? Port speed? Flow control? Any hints and software ideas for the OMNI V would be appreciated. I am/was expecting to use "YP log". Ideas? 73 de Dave K1OPQ here or at k1opq@arrl.net -- FAQ on WWW: http://www.contesting.com/FAQ/tentec Submissions: tentec@contesting.com Administrative requests: tentec-REQUEST@contesting.com Problems: owner-tentec@contesting.com |
