Steve, I have the ten tec g5rv brand new in the box never seen the light of
day. I can't decide whether it's worth to put in air or a loop
antenna......hmmmm......only been putting this off at least 5 years....G A S

Actually, TenTec sold a balanced antenna (G5RV) for some time. I can't find
it on their web site anymore. Also, they sell several antenna tuners
including the 238A with it's new look. Yes, the rubber band dial indicator
is finally gone! So I suppose antennas and tuners are just as much TenTec as
are rigs.
I too think the antenna discussion is interesting and educational but needs
to be a bit more directed to TenTec products.
