Phil, I had the exact same problem with a couple of the 544 Triton IV's that
I've owned (similar circuitry to early Omni series). I tried a bunch of
stuff - contact cleaning, board swapping, etc. and thought I had it licked
but down the road it came back intermittently. Only happened in some of the
rigs, and not in others.
