I don't think TT will have any heartburn from your posting this
calibration spec. Paul gave me essentially the same instructions last
week when I called about the FSK offsets in the rig and what I thought
was a slight off-freq condition on mine. I highly recommend borrowing a
known calibrated freq counter, and remember the spec on the rig is +/- 50
Hz.
Regarding the turn-on drift, it is noticeable on my rig, so I leave the
+12V on the radio all the time (except when I'm out of town - no use
keeping it lined up for the gremlins to use!)
Thanks for the posting - I've printed it and will keep it handy in the
manual for reference.
