I bought one of the first scouts. I ran it pactor1 and amtor at 30 watts and never experienced any freq drift nor had any reports of drift. I worked many mbo's with it and it stayed right on freq. As a side note, ten tec did not recommend it for pactor/amtor! but I did it anyway with no regrets.
