Do you operate cw over 30wpm in FAST QSK mode on 160 through 20 =
meters?

Hi Steve, No I don't, usually just on 40M.
BTW, are you aware that someone found that
the MHz filter of the VI+ is used in both the
rcv and xmit channels? Further was found, that
in some VI's, the alignment is such that a
"thump" occurs on transmit audible on the sidetone,
but not on the transmitted signal. The cure seems
to be to replace the MHz filter with another one
centered at a slightly differing frequency; INRAD
has announced such a filter, and some have=20
signed up to buy it. You might want to check
with INRAD. But perhaps, this was a totally
different source of a sound than that which
you are hearing.
