One reason I bought a Yaesu FT- 1000MP last year to replace my 8 year old
Omni V was the xmit monitor feature that the Omni V had, but was removed
from the Omni VI and VI PLUS. I still it is a strong point to have
returned to an "OMNI VII 6-160 transceiver" with others mentioned.
Yes I sold the 1000MP and now have an Omni VI PLUS !
