Dan,
     Rather than the suggested fix of putting an attenuator at the
output of the rig to drop 20 watts to 5, try putting an attenuator at
the input to the P.A.  This way, you're not burning resistors with 15
watts of power.  Don't know the layout of this specific rig, so I can't
tell you exactly how to do this.
