Grounding Scheme for Omni VI

Several folks sent E-Mail to me about a factory "grounding scheme" that cures
the synthesizer frequency jump problem on the Omni VI.  Is the grounding
scheme for the Omni VI something that I would consider doing at home, or is
this strictly a factory mod?
