Tim, can you get it with the 0.058 wall?
Thats what I used on all my antennas when I was making them. I got it
from central steel in chicago.
obviously the 0.058 is the perfect size for telescoping a 1/8" solid rod.

Hello Drew:
Your question is a good one! DX Engineering has never offered 1/4" OD tubing
for sale by itself - since I have been here (almost 13 years).
But, thanks to your suggestion we will offer it for sale - in the near
future. Need to get things geared up on the web, stock, etc.
Our 0.25 inch diameter tubing has a wall thickness of 0.035 not 0.058.
Hope your project can wait!

Subject: [CQ-Contest] 1/4 inch tubing
Contesters,
Has anyone else noticed that DXE no longer lists 0.25 in tubing on its site?
Obviously, they need that size to build/maintain almost any Yagi or vertical
they sell or make. I called and they assured me they don't carry it
anymore, despite it being part of many things they still sell. Including
elements for the RX circle array I am getting ready to build using their
preamps. I have yet to find an alternate source at less than 3x the price.
This has got to be a mistake right?
