This weekend's MO QSO Party info can be found here: MO QSO Party (
https://www.w0ma.org/index.php/missouri-qso-party) The contest runs from
1400 UTC Saturday - 0400 UTC Sunday and then from 1400 UTC to 2000 UTC
Sunday. The exchange for in-state stations is signal report and county
abbreviation. Every other station sends signal report and state, province,
or "DX". Frequencies are listed in the rules on the contest website.
NØU will be CW-only on 40, 20, and 15 meters. We'll be making frequent
appearances on 40 through the day to help in-state and regional stations
work us. Look for us close to 7.040, 14.040, and 21.040 MHz.
Now that the weather situation seems better known, the NØU county plan has
been finalized:
Sat
TAN, STN, CHR, LAW, BAR, MCD, NWT, JAS, BTN, DAD, CED, POL, SCL, HIC, CAM,
DAL, LAC, PUL, MIL, MRE, PHE, CRA
Sun
DEN, TEX, (HWL), (DGL), (OZA), WRT, WEB, GRN
Counties in parentheses are optional, depending on road closures in the
area. It looks like the heavy rain will have moved east on Sunday, but the
rivers and creeks will be overflowing and we'll have to be very careful
about road conditions. We will not be in those counties for long and OZA
may only be a short county line operation.
We will also be spotting ourselves and using the MOQP APRS Page (
https://moqp.geoffeg.org/) to let everybody know where we are, along with
the regular spotting networks.
Hoping for good propagation!
73, Ward NØAX and Mark N5OT
