Hello Craig. An interesting project. But I question the value vs the on line
scoring currently available. Take CQ WW for example. Lets say you have 3000
Qs. How many of those Qs are going to be available to be crossed checked real
time? And how many of the critical mults or double mults might be logged in
for checking real time? Even with great adoption, based on casuals and
DXpeditions, wouldn't you be lucky to have 25% of the data available for real
time cross checking?
Given how many Qs are casuals in contest (other than maybe SS), there is zero
chance that 90%+ of the Qs are going to be available real time to make the
output meaningful.
On line score boards based on the gross data submitted by station has been
around for a few years now. Yet, way less than 10% of the submitted logs
appear to be using it in major contests like WW or WPX.
