My friend Kari Korhonen, OH5TS died this morning. I met him many times
in Finland, and we kept in touch between visits. He had a big tower on
Kuorsalo, an island in the Gulf of Finland near his home in Kotka. He
also had a smaller station at his home, as he had to get to Kuorsalo by
boat or snowmobile, which wasn't always possible. He was also a regular
operator at OH5Z, the contest station of the late OH5NQ. He was an
excellent contest operator, and just a really nice guy.
