Hello to all - the North America Sprints are coming up:
CW Sprint - Sep 10th 0000 to 0359 UTC
RTTY Sprint - Sep 17th 0000 to 0359 UTC
Both contests are Saturday evening in North America. Complete rules:

Activity on CW generally starts about 25 kHz above the band edge on 20, 40,
and 80 meters.
A reminder for those with limited operating time, that last 90 minutes can
really be fun on 80 meters with a little 40 meters thrown in for good
measure. If you are new to sprinting, why not read Jim George, N3BB's
article posted on the NCJ NA Sprint website at
*ncjweb.com/sprint-scores/CW-Sprinting-N3BB.pdf
<http://ncjweb.com/sprint-scores/CW-Sprinting-N3BB.pdf>*. The Alabama QSO
Party will be going on at the same time - those contacts count for Sprint
if you get the necessary number, name, and state. They need your
state/province/country so the Sprint exchange will be fine.
For those of you who are Sprint veterans, please encourage your club
members to give it a try and explain how it works. Don't forget about the
five-person teams which are fun for new contesters and contest club
members, too! Many clubs set up teams specifically for new Sprinters - it's
a great way to get started. Just register the team at
*ncjweb.com/cwsprintteamreg
<http://ncjweb.com/cwsprintteamreg>* before the contest starts.
*D*on't overlook the quick log submission deadline - it's still 7 days
after the contest! Submit your log at *ncjweb.com/sprintlogsubmit.php
<http://ncjweb.com/sprintlogsubmit.php>*. You can be sure your log was
uploaded by checking the Logs Received web page at *ncjweb.com/cwsprintlogs
<http://ncjweb.com/cwsprintlogs>*.
See you then!
