What amazes me is,
If this group was thought of as such a great leadership in the
contesting community, how in the world did they ever think that this
would be acceptable to anyone in the first place?

Hi Chuck,
Much to the credit of SEDXA's leadership, they amended their
September "100 Watts and Wires DX Contest" rules to bring
them into alignment with long standing amateur practice to
not conduct contests in the 30, 17 and 12 meter bands.

As of right now, it does not mention WARC bands at all:

Perhaps they have changed it.

The URL for the Southeast DX Club's badly thought out DX

I urge you to immediately state your objections to the SEDXC
club president at: c.catledge@gmail.com
Hopefully this very well respected DX club (at least until now)
will correct their egregious error before Sept 1st.
If no correction is made, all self respecting contesters should
boycott this contest in protest.
