[CQ-Contest] Subject mute?

Is there any way to mute subjects in this group?  Or get beamed up or 
something?  

I like to glean interesting and useful ideas and information from other 
contesters, but many of the discussions are inane.  

We should all refrain from refrain from telling others how to operate until 
we've walked in their shoes.
