Are you looking to create something like https://contestonlinescore.com/ , the 
“Contest Online Scoreboard”?  It does a good job with a “leader board” for 
those who choose to configure their logger to provide the data in near real 
time.  See https://contestonlinescore.com/blog/documents/ for a list of 
supported loggers and other help.  If you are looking to do something else, 
maybe the creators of the online scoreboard are a resource to help you out.
