Greetings Diddlers,
Another great evening last Thursday. Welcome to Max, NG7M. Max noted that
“once every 4 – 6 months makes for a rusty Utah mult.”. Yep, so drop by more
often. W0YK was really on fire breaking the 50 Q mark.
This upcoming weekend is….The Real RTTY Sprint! Yep, the actual, honest to
goodness RTTY Sprint sponsored by NCJ. Four hours of keyboard pounding and
knob twisting. DON’T FORGET: The Sprint starts one hour earlier than usual:
so be sure you are in place and ready at 2300Z! Remember that the Real Sprint
rules are just a bit different than the weekly Sprints, so go here (
https://ncjweb.com/Sprint-Rules.pdf )and give them a quick read through. The
high points are 5 kHz moves before a CQ, mults counted only once, and 80/40/20
meters only. And of course no dupes.
So be sure to join us Thursday evening and be sure all your stuff is ready to
go.
The details for our little get together this week:
