I've been following the news from Northern California about the many huge wildfires going on at the moment due to unusual thunderstorms that hit last weekend. There are quite a few well known hams with contest stations on this list in the Santa Cruz mountains that are, it seems, are really threatened by these fires. Entire towns around there are being evacuated. K9YC and K6XX come to mind, but there are many others up there.
