Certain "sub-bands" tend to disappear when there's a major contest. RTTY
extends into CW, CW into RTTY. For as long as I can remember, EU SSB
contesters have been in what is 40 CW in the US working US stations
split. On 160, delineation between CW and SSB tends to disappear during
contests.
All of these arrangements are shares for the weekend.
