Yaesu! FCG is pleased to announce the return of the Orlando Contest Dinner.
Come to sunny Central Florida on your way to the Caribbean for ARRL DX CW,
or just put the snow shovel up in the garage for a weekend and enjoy the
attractions of central Florida (average high temperature in February 74
degrees Fahrenheit/23 degrees Celsius)!
On Friday, February 9 make plans to attend the Orlando Contest Dinner. The
Florida Contest Group is pleased to announce that our 2018 banquet speaker
will be John Dorr K1AR. John is the longtime MC of the Dayton Contest
Dinner, a CQ-Contest Hall of Fame Member, President of the Worldwide Radio
Operators Foundation, and past WRTC winner.
Your banquet ticket entitles you to a barbecue dinner, free 807s, and an
entry into our raffle for one of our fabulous prizes. The grand prize will
be a brand new Yaesu HF+6M transceiver, thanks to our great friends at
Yaesu!
Finally, as if that's not enough, thanks to the Kansas City DX Club, we
will be running a CW pileup competition, featuring prizes from Hamcation
vendors!
