Im having this capability at my so2r station with acom 2s1 switch, and i
think top ten device mentioned by Lloyd is similar. With simple push
button and cabling 3 relays route 2s1 box into my setup. After that i can
go to same band with both radios and instantly transmit with either one via
same one alpha amp to that bands antenna. When transmitting with one
radio, other is protected (antenna is shorted or disconnected by the 2s1
box). I sometimes use this e.g. in 19z cwt when only 20 m is open from CA.
Call cq on one freq and in same time interleave s&p qsos up and down the
band on other radio. It is like so2v but using both radios and that makes
operating more standard so2r like and quite efficient. If i recall wiring
correctly i’m not using all the circuit on that 2s1 box as i’m achieving
interlock by other means (currently via top ten band decoders).

I believe a Top Ten Devices "Op-Swapper" would be an easy way for John
to tie his two radios together while protecting the receivers.
We use them here without issues.

As I understood it, he wants to be able to listen to two receivers at
the same time, both connected to the same antenna.
Presumably he doesn't have a dual-receiver rig, but he wants to
approximate the same capability using a second transceiver
as a second receiver.
