Hi Jorge -
Recordings are requested by the log checkers to validate entry categories or
other details about the contest operation.
My advice for serious participants in CQWW is to review the rules before the
contest starts, and assure that if you intend to field a competitive entry that
everything asked for will be completed. It is easy to record all 48 hours of a
contest operation. This has been discussed at length in this forum and others
over the past 2 years.

Scott
ok, is in the rules, thats right, someone put this in the rule, nothing to do
with radio, I take care of my radio and antennas, but someone add this, and
maybe will add more things that have nothing to do with the station.
Just my dude, do you think is something wrong with CX2DK log, cheating? Or is
just that he didn't record the contest?
Rules also say
B. Observer Program: The Committee may request of any entrant to accept a visit
by an observer during the contest. Failure to allow a Committee appointed
observer full access to the station during the contest period may result in the
entry being a Checklog
Did you sent any observer during 2016 contests? The point if that CC is
passing the responsibility for the participants, Any year we must do more and
more things to participate

Marcelo:
Per section XII. C. of the rules if you are in a top 3 World or Continent
claimed score for your entry category you are required to provide a recording
of your operation, if asked. The CQWW log checkers wanted to hear a recording of
your 2016 operation. You were unable to provide this. We reclassified your
entry as a checklog as a result.I was informed by the log checkers that you
were also asked for a recording after the 2015 contest, and did not provide
one. The log checkers archived your reply email from after the 2015 contest
stating you did not have a recording for that contest either, which I have
reviewed. This demonstrates to me you were both aware of the rule, and chose
not to follow it.
