Call me cynical, but it's in the interest of the DX operator to slow
down the S&P operators a lot, so they make fewer contacts with the
competition. In the long term, though, it discourages them/us from
operating. I know that if I can't find enough new contacts to keep
things interesting, in part because of the time wasted waiting for ID's
that turn out to be dupes, I'll just turn off the radio and do something
else. It's also just inconsiderate.
