Wow, that is a shame. Rich and his stationmates always seemed to have the
knack of picking up the weak ones (me) in a pileup and I looked for them
every time there was a KL7 or Zone 1 station needed.
You could really count on that thundering signal and usually comical 3830
report afterwards. Big shoes to fill.
Someone said Rich was 93- is that true?
