Randy,
You hit the nail on the head. Although our Texas QSO Party Committee is
just a fraction of the CQWWCC, we also try to follow these very guidelines.
BTW, the number of paper logs has diminished in the past few years, allowing
less labor to get the final results posted.

Subject: Re: [CQ-Contest] CQWW Proposed Rules
The proposed rule says: "Stations competing for World and Continent awards
must provide actual frequencies for all contacts in the log."
This rule will apply to about 50-75 stations on each mode.
That leaves about 8000 entries on each mode that can keep doing what they
are doing.
Option 2: "All entries are encouraged to provide actual frequencies for all
contacts in the log."
The members of the CQWWCC are not stupid or uncaring. We understand things
happen and not everyone is using the latest gear. We still type in every
paper log that we receive. We want people to participate in the contest,
have fun, and measure their skills by submitting a log. Including
frequencies is helpful for the log checking, but that's it. Help us by
including frequencies if you can.
Fun! It's that thing that happens when you use wireless to magically talk
to someone far away.
