Greetings Diddlers!

I was out of touch last week (road trip) so I need to get back in the groove
this week. A review of 3830 shows we had one new station (Welcome AA7IH !),
and I see our QRP contingent is building into a 3 way contest. Always great
to have relatively new stations back for more diddles. I see there was no
KEN CA available last week: probably first time for that in a long while. I
even missed the Volta test: how often do you get the possibility of 1
Billion points in one weekend? Maybe we need a scoring adjustment to liven
up things around here!

Not directly related to NS RTTY, but congrats to our own WD0T who took home
the trophy in the New and Improved February 2015 SSB Sprint Low Power
category. Congrats Todd!

Thursday (in NA) is our regular weekly RTTY get together. 15 meters seems
spotty for some and good for others, so give a listen and see what happens.
Old Sol seems to have quieted down a bit after a raucous week.

Dupe rule still in effect, so don't let the small number of unique stations
slow you down. Remember, you need to work a different station on the same
band or any station on a different band before working the dupe. And there
is no limitation how many times you can do this, so have at it! If you are
new to SO2R this is great practice using both radios to your advantage.

And the details:
Friday, 15 May 2015, 0145Z - 0215Z (Thursday 14 May 2015 in NA)
-- 1845 - 1915 PST
-- 2145 - 2215 EST
-- (others in-between these two)
-- 160: 1805 and up
-- 80/40/20/15 +80kHz up from the band edge
-- Same band dupes ok after 1 intervening Q.
-- 1 kHz QSY rule, otherwise standard Sprint rules.
-- 100W power limit.

Please visit http://www.ncccsprint.com/rttyns.html for complete rules and
links to other info. There was a broken link on the web page that linked to
the NCJ Sprint rules which has been fixed (tnx K6MM).

Report scores to 3830scores.com, and join us at 0300Z on 3610 kHz for
comments and questions (and dinner menus).

Diddle diddle,

Ken K6MR
