Hi All,
I think this contest is a favorite of many hams when they got started in
the hobby... I worked my first SS in the late 70's.. The SS uses those
familiar "Prec" and "CK" headings that we used so many times in the traffic
nets. It seems is that the lengthy and "odd" exchange is not a favorite of
the "newer" generation of hams. I "grew-up" with the Nov SS and have always
enjoyed working it. This is a not a "speed" contest, it's all about
accuracy... Frankly, I like the "personal" touch that the "ck" adds to the
exchange.
By the way, I wish I had a nickel for every "?" I receive after sending my
WN4 callsign..
