Not to morph the monitor thread into a optic thread, they tend to go hand in
hand !
I have been prescribed bifocals for the last 10 years. B-4 that I was lucky
to get away with over the counter ?X reading glasses from the the RX store.
That even worked in the beginning of the BIFOCAL adjustment period for RADIO
/computer stuff. But over time I lost the focus .
I spoke to my OPTOMATRIST also a fellow Ham and CONTESTER ( and FRC club
member ) and He whipped me up a set of Glasses that were optimized for the 32"
distance to my average screen. WOW what a difference no sore neck &
shoulders from the up/down head movement ....well worth the $
He has since retired and my last two optic changes.... have included a pair of
glasses, single focus @ the 30" focal target .
