Anyone operating the WWSA CW contest this weekend????
It seems to have rules similar to the CQ WW contest, though they don't
drone on and on as CQ is wont to do.
Maybe the folks in Argentina will drum up enough support to rival CQ WW
in the future?
Anyway, English version of the rules are at
http://www.wwsatest.org/basesingles.htm
Note, they are truly aimed internationally, rather than the parochial
content of most US based organizations. They have rules in six
different languages. Perhaps ARRL could learn from these folks? Or,
are we so pompous as to believe that english is the only language
necessary for communicating?
Also, if you're into VHF/UHF this weekend is the ARRL VHF contest!
