[CQ-Contest] Poisson d'Avril ?

I just realized I missed one of my favorite contests, the Poisson d'Avril.  
What happened?
 
Was it not held this year because of triskaidekaphobia associated with the  
year 2013?
 
Did North Korean hackers get into the sponsor's computer?
 
Did everyone just enter the new 24 second category?
 
I had hoped to place well enough to earn some WRTC2014 qualification  bonus
