I have to agree with Bob here, Glenn.  The rule that Steve mentioned is only 
*off* the table because there doesn't appear to be any substantial movement 
to have it *on* the table.  He was just looking for suggestions about how to 
increase activity - not the same as saying the contest lacks activity and is 
heading toward failure.
 I suggest your representatives have done a good job of representing the 
majority of their constituents, just as you say they should.

No flames necessary. The problem here is not that your opinion doesn't
matter.
The problem is that there are many others who love SS as it is.
Changing it to be a contest where you work people more than once would
change the contest forever, and many think not for the better. There are
 other contests that allow that, so you're not being deprived in any way. 
As
N2IC said, if you want to operate that kind of a contest, there is the 
NAQP.
