Just a reminder that the Stew Pot warm up is this weekend and now is the
time to make sure your station is competitive for the topband season.
Okay, W1 land ops need only make sure their antenna is still up but this is
the only contest where distance matters and W1's need to spend more then
a casual effort to beat the rest of us.
The Plaque Master is busy working in his shop for the 2010 awards but for
this warm up we get a free run at top scores as the big guns wait for the
real event in December and this is just for fun. But it is a lot of fun and I
hope topband prop supports 1.8 MHz contacts even if ten is the go to band
this fall.
