This is just a quick reminder that I would appreciate you sending a copy of
your CQ VHF Contest Cabrillo. I don't need them until 2 weeks before the
ARRL September VHF Contest, but I'm asking now when the Contest is still
fresh in everyone's mind. Also please send any corrections, deletions or
additions.
I received 181 Logs from the June VHF to build the release for the recent
Contest. Please still send your June Cabrillo if you haven't done so
already. Next June's Release will be built from scratch (zero-based) on
2010, 2012, and Jan 2012 Logs. The more Data I get, the more accurate the
Database.
Some additional processing will be done next June to exclude unissued calls.
K1TOL reviewed the June Release and identified a number of "Busted Calls".
Many of the "busted calls" were unissued callsigns. Also I may consider
removing any call that is only found in one log. That was another attribute
of the busted calls. I hate to do this because there are legitimate
"singletons", so the more data I have to process, the more likely a call
will appear in more than one log.
I had planned to be more active in the CQ Test, but a surgical procedure
this week left my left arm a bit sorer than I expected. From what little I
heard, 6M Propagation - at least from Indy - was pretty punk on Saturday.
That's too bad because it was red hot a week ago. That must be some
corollary of Murphy's Law!
