The 2010 CQ WW season opens on 25-26 September with the 24th running of the
RTTY mode in this contest. With over 15,000 participants and a record 2307
entries in 2009, the largest RTTY contest promises to be a great event.
The searchable scores database is now live at
www.cqwwrtty.com/scores_db.htm, containing the entire 23-year history of
this contest. Note the rapid growth in log statistics at
www.cqwwrtty.com/stats.htm. One can trace the results of any call sign and
slice the data for the record in virtually any category imaginable at
www.cqwwrtty.com/records.htm. It is a great tool for setting goals and
plans for the next contest. Thanks to Don, AA5AU, and Randy, K5ZD, for the
creative, hard work that pulled it together. (Don and Randy did the same
for the CQ WPX RTTY contest earlier in the year.)

Plaques for the 2009 CQ WW RTTY were mailed earlier this summer (and,
plaques for the 2010 CQ WPX RTTY have also been distributed). Certificates
for both contests will be generated and mailed shortly.
Looking forward to printing everyone's call sign on the bands at the end of
September!
